Essere ardenti
bruciare al fuoco dell'altare
offrire l'ego in sacrificio
Chi divampa con acuto crepitio
e chi sfuma in docile sordina
L'importante è andare in fiamme
per poi poter volare
S'avvicina così l'animale al Divino
THE NECESSARY STAKE
Beig ardent
burning in the fire of the altar
offering the ego as a sacrifice
Some burn up with acute sizzle
some fade away in docile damper
The important thing is to go in flame
to later be able to fly
In this way the animal gets closer to the Divine
ZJARRI I NEVOJSHËM
Të jesh i zjarrtë
të digjesh në zjarrin e altarit
të ofrosh egon si sakrificë
Kush përflaket me një kërcitje të mprehtë
dhe kush shuhet në bindjen e shurdhër
E rëndësishme është të marrësh flakë
në mënyrë që mund të fluturosh
Kështu i afrohet kafsha Hyjnores.

È direttore responsabile dei Quaderni del Premio Letterario Giuseppe Acerbi e della rivista di cultura poetica e letteraria Menabò. Stefano Iori, journalist and writer from Mantua, has published essays on theater and cinema and a treatise on the fantastic animals of Judaism. His activity as curator is intense. He has signed a novel, a volume of short stories and four books of poetry. He collaborates with Italian and foreign authors in the creation of artist's books. He is editor-in-chief of the magazine of poetic and literary culture Menabò. Është kryeredaktor i Fletoreve të Çmimit Letrar Giuseppe Acerbi dhe të revistës së kulturës poetike dhe letrare Menabò.
