Anita Madaluni graduated at the St. Cecilia Conservatory summa cum laude and has been an active concert pianist until 1987.
She started her career “behind a microphone” at the Vatican Radio (The Vatican’s radio broadcasting station) with which she still cooperates.
As a journalist, she wrote for Il Tempo (a major Italian newspaper) from 1987 to 1992, in the Culture/Entertainment section and, in the late 80s, successfully conceived the Local Culture section of the newspaper.
Additionally, she worked with La Repubblica (another major Italian newspaper), writing for the La Storia (The History) insert.
As a young professional, Anita was already rubbing shoulders with celebrities such as Italy’s Senate majority leader, Hon. Giovanni Spadolini, Beppe Costa, Dario Bellezza (Italian poet, author and playwright), Ruggero Orlando (famous journalist and news anchor), world known actors such as Arnoldo Foà, Vittorio Gassman, Giorgio Albertazzi, Peppino De Filippo and even President Reagan and his wife Nancy.
Soon after, she created and directed the first Box Office Italia international agency near Rome, the “AmadeuService” which succeeds in having the Latina Soccer Stadium opened again to musical events, organizing Pino Daniele’s and the Liftiba’s concerts. Anita’s box office agency, via its vast international network, offers access to shows, cultural and sports events held in Italy and worldwide.
Anita’s voice narrates the documentary produced as the official presentation of the 2015 Expo, and Diritto al Futuro (Right to the Future), a video produced by RAI TV under the supervision of the Department of Youth Policies.
She has been a journalist, a radio and TV announcer, as well as author and host of RadioInStore for more than a decade.
Anita has been the creator of numerous advertising campaigns for major brands’ names (Coin-Oviesse, Flunch, Kraft, Motta) including Italy’s Prime Minister’s office, owning several successful slogans such as “Flunch, enjoy your lunch”, and named international artistic events like the Moldavian Pavillion “Feel & Crash” during the 52nd Venice Biennale. In this occasion, Anita was the Assistant Commissioner in charge of the Press office.

Anita has been the narrator of the televised series of documentaries Castelli d’Italia e d’Europa” (Italian and European Castles), a DeAgostini-Hobby & Work production. She also played as a journalist in the TV series Avvocati (Lawyers), aired on RAI 2 and directed by Giorgio Ferrara.
Along with Alberto Bevilaqua (one of the most popular italian writer) , she wrote commentary for poetic publications. She also wrote the prefaces to and edited several books.
She is the main character in one of the 15 stories narrated in the book Le secondevite (The second lives), by Maurizio Righetti, RAI Tv journalist (Bulgarini publishing 2013).
Anita wrote the preface and selected the pictures for the book DiariParalleli (Parallel diaries – A comparison between Emile Griffith’s and Nino Benvenuti’s life), which was published in 2010 during the world-famous event she organized and named “Magic Round”. In that occasion, Anita managed to bring to Italy the former world boxing champion Emile Griffith. The event had international media coverage.
Ms. Madaluni manages the public relations and press office for several artists and institutions and cooperates with numerous publications and TV networks in Italy and abroad (RAI-TV, Mediaset, Daily News, NY Times, SKY-TV).
Anita often hosts cultural awards galas, meeting and various public events attended by celebrities from sports, arts and culture, politics, entertainment and entrepreneurship.
She has experience as a television host as well and is periodically invited to attend TV talk shows and debates as an appreciated contributor and has interviewed for the official magazine of the City of Rome, SPQR, many of the most distinguished contemporary celebrities. To mention a few: Ennio Morricone (legendary movie’s soundtrack composer), Piera DegliEsposti (actress), Carl Lewis (Olympic champion and world record holder), MariagraziaCucinotta (actress and producer), Bud Spencer (legendary actor).
A “vernissage” expert who can skillfully blend multiple forms of art (music, painting, sport, food & wine).
A very dedicated event organizer and PR person, Anita has been the long-time press agent and closest assistant of Nino Benvenuti.
Anita keeps herself busy also on the social front, by supporting charitable events and non-profit organizations, as well as working towards organizing social events for FAO’s (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) World Food Day and UN HCR goodwill ambassador programs.
She was nominated “Ambassador of Peace” by the Argentinian Government in 2015, during the RAICES award ceremony.
In 2017, Anita created and directed the docufilm L’Oro dei Cinquanta – Mezzo Secolo da Quella Notte al Madison (The Golden 50 – Half a century from that night at Madison Square Garden), about the 50th anniversary of Nino Benvenuti’s winning of the World Boxing title at MSG in New York. The film premiered on April 26th, on the champion’s birthday, at the opening of the relat ed and official ceremony held at the Honor Hall of Italy’s Olympic Committee, which endorsed it along with the US Embassy in Rome.
Ms. Madaluni is also an editor and ghostwriter. She represents, all over the world, the champion Stefano Pelinga and the actor Augustin Monzon (nephew of Carlos); and she is the official biographer and press agent of Marcos Vinicius and Nino Benvenuti.
