civile
o, in molti casi, fisica. (b.c.)
Scusate
Scusate
se siamo fuggiti
dalle
guerre che voi nutrite
con
le vostre stesse armi
Scusate
se ci siamo avvelenati
con
i rifiuti tossici sotterrati
dalle
vostre potenti industrie
Scusate
se avete dissanguato
la
nostra terra, deprivandoci
di
ogni possibile risorsa
Scusate
la nostra povertà
figlia
della vostra ricchezza
dei
vostri neo-colonialismi
Scusate
se veniamo massacrati
e
disturbiamo le vostre vacanze
col
nostro sangue invisibile
Scusate
se occupiamo
coi
nostri sudici corpi
i
vostri centri di detenzione
Scusate
se ci spezziamo la schiena
nei
vostri campi di pomodoro
schiavi
senza alcun diritto
Scusate
se viviamo nelle
vostre baracche di lamiera
vostre baracche di lamiera
ammucchiati
come bestie
Scusate
per la nostra presenza
che
causa ogni vostra crisi
e
non vi fa vivere bene
Scusate
se le vostre leggi
non
sono abbastanza severe
e
molti di voi vorrebbero la forca
Scusate
se esistiamo
se
respiriamo, se mangiamo
persino
se osiamo sognare
Scusate
se non siamo morti in mare
e
se invece lo siamo, scusate ancora
l’impudenza
d’avervelo fatto sapere.
Excuse us
Excuse us for fleeing
the wars that you fed
with your own arms
Excuse us for getting poisoned
with the toxic waste buried
by your powerful industries
Excuse us if you’ve bled
out our land, depriving us
of any possible resource
Excuse our poverty
daughter of your richness
of your neo-colonialisms
Excuse us for being massacred
and for disturbing your vacation
with our invisible blood
Excuse us for occupying
your detention centers
with our filthy bodies
Excuse us for breaking our
backs in your tomato fields
slaves without any right
Excuse us for living in
your tin huts
stacked like beasts
Excuse us for our presence
that causes each of your crisis
and doesn’t make you live well
Excuse us if your laws
aren’t strict enough
and many of you would love the gallows
Excuse us for existing,
for breathing, for eating
even for daring to dream
Excuse us if we didn’t die at sea
and if we did, excuse us again
the impudence of informing you.
Na falni
Na
falni nëse ikëm
nga luftërat që ju ushqeni
me armët tuaja
Na falni nëse jemi helmuar
me
mbeturina toksike të varrosura
nga
industritë tuaja të fuqishme
Na
falni nëse e keni përgjakur
tokën
tonë, duke na privuar
nga
çdo burimi të mundshëm
Na
e falni këtë varfërinë tonë
bijë
e pasurisë suaj
të
neo-kolonializmit tuaj.
Na
falni nëse na masakrojnë
dhe
shqetësojmë pushimet tuaja
me
gjakun tonë të padukshëm.
Na
falni nëse okupojmë
me
trupat tanë të ndyrë
qendrat
tuaja të burgimit.
Na
falni nëse na bie bretku
në
fushat e domates
skllevër
pa asnjë të drejtë.
Na
falni nëse jetojmë në
barakat
tuaja prej llamarine
të
grumbulluar si kafshët.
Na
falni për praninë tonë
që
shkakton çdo krizë tuajën
dhe
nuk ju lë të jetoni mirë.
Na falni nëse ligjet tuaja
nuk janë dhe aq të rrepta
dhe shumë prej jush do donin
dhunën.
Na falni nëse egzistojmë
nëse marrim frymë, nëse hamë
edhe nëse guxojmë të
ëndërrojmë.
Na falni nëse nuk vdiqëm në
det
dhe
nëse jemi, na e falni përsëri
paturpësinë që jua bëmë të
ditur.
Torneranno
I
giovani guardano questa terra
come
una madre che li respinge
guardano
questi monti
senza
più alcun desiderio
guardano
questi vecchi lasciati
come
fantasmi ormai sconosciuti
guardano
queste case corrose
come
presepi da dimenticare
guardano
queste radici abbandonate
come
legami di cui vergognarsi
e
guardano loro stessi
senza
riuscire a riconoscersi
confusi,
soli, smarriti
come
foglie disperse dal vento.
I
giovani guardano e vanno
ma
questa terra ancora li aspetta
questa
terra ancora
li
vuole.
They’ll Come Back
Young people look at this land
as a mother rejecting them
they look at these mountains
with no more longing
they look at these old men left behind
as ghosts now unknown
they look at these damaged houses
as Nativity scenes to forget
they watch these abandoned roots
as ties to be ashamed of
and they look at themselves
failing to recognize themselves
confused, alone, lost
as leaves scattered by the wind.
Young people look and go
but this land still waits for them
this land longs them
still.
Do
të kthehen
Të
rinjtë shikojnë këtë tokë
si
një nënë që i refuzon
shikojnë
këto male
pa
asnjë lloj dëshire
shohin
këta të vjetër të lënë
si
fantazma tashmë të panjohura
shikojnë
këto shtëpi të gërryera
si
kasolle për t’u harruar
shikojnë
këto rrënjë të braktisura
si
lidhje për t'u turpëruar
dhe shohin veten e tyre
pa mundur ta njohin
të hutuar, vetëm, të humbur
si
gjethet që shpërndan era.
Të
rinjtë shikojnë dhe shkojnë
por
kjo tokë ende i pret
kjo
tokë përsëri
i
dëshiron.
Coniugando il
verbo “aprire”
Aprite
le porte
aprite
le finestre
aprite
le frontiere
poi,
tutte le prigioni
aprite
la mente e il cuore
aprite
quel che c’è da aprire
ogni
strada, ogni piazza aprite
aprite
gli occhi, guardate
se
non aprite non siete
ad
ogni bellezza aprite
lo
scrigno della tristezza
aprite,
lasciate vivere il fiore
il
profumo dei sensi, aprite
alla
rabbia più feroce
lasciatela
salire
il
cielo ne avrà cura
il
suo abbraccio azzurro
le
restituirà il sorriso, aprite
al
colore che avete smesso
alla
memoria dimenticata
al
mare che tornerà onda
e
smetterà di essere tomba
aprite
i muri sulla terra, lei
è
un volto senza confine
fate
salire il suo canto, aprite
le
braccia, le mani, le labbra
aprite
la pace seppellita
aprite
alla carezza
e
al sogno, aprite.
Conjugating the Verb “To Open”
Open the doors
open the windows
open the borders
then, all the prisons
open the mind and the heart
open what’s left to open,
open each road, each square
open your eyes, look
if you don’t open, you’re not
to all beauty open
the casket of sadness
open, let the flower live,
the scent of the sense, open
to the fiercest rage
let it climb
the sky will take care of it
its azure embrace
shall restore its smile, open
to the color you’ve stopped wearing
to the forgotten memory
to the sea that shall turn wave
and stop being a grave
open the walls of the Earth, she
is a borderless face
let its chant climb, open
your arms, hands, lips
open to buried peace
open to caress[es]
and to dream, open.
